Duties
- Supervise and coordinate night cleaning operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to quality standards
- Inspect work areas regularly for cleanliness, safety hazards, and compliance with established protocols
- Train and mentor custodial staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, laundry services, and janitorial materials to ensure adequate stock levels
- Conduct routine inspections
- Enforce health and safety regulations by monitoring sanitation practices and implementing corrective actions when necessary
- Lead scheduling efforts for custodial teams to optimize coverage during peak hours or special events
- Cover shifts when required, i.e., callouts, vacation, sick leave.
- Fill in When Employees Call Out
- Maintain Vacant Cleaning Positions
- Nightly Site Visits
Skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams effectively
- Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and inspections simultaneously
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques
- Ability to train staff on janitorial procedures, safety standards, and quality control measures
- Extensive janitorial and custodial experience with knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety regulations
